Description
Port Sztynort is a unique place in the heart of Masuria. The largest port for yachts and motorboats is naturally hidden on the waters of Lake Sztynorckie. This picturesque sailing town is a mecca for Masurian sailors. It is also one of the most beautiful places on the Great Lakes Trail and a laureate of many rankings among the best ports. During the summer season, shanty concerts and other musical events take place here, and on Sundays, open-air masses are held. We offer various forms of relaxation and accommodation. One of them is the Water Houses "In Harmony with Nature" located in a quiet part of Port Nowy Sztynort - at pier 13. Surrounded by greenery and the beauty of the lake with breathtaking views of sunrises and sunsets. 10 fully equipped four- to six-person houses with a kitchenette, bathroom, and large terrace, where you can fully relax in nature. The Water Houses are located at the same pier as the sauna. The second form of accommodation is rooms in the *** Sztynort Guesthouse located in a historic building of the farm complex. The Guesthouse has 1, 2, 3, and 4-person rooms. The third form is the Houses in the Village. In the Village Houses, we offer a large space with a garden. Each of them has an area of 168m2 - 4 bedrooms, an open room upstairs, a spacious living room with access to the terrace in the garden, a kitchen with a dining area, and 2 bathrooms and an additional toilet. The village of Sztynort is located on a peninsula surrounded by the lakes Mamry, Kirsajty, Dargin, and Łabap. The Sztynorcki Bridge allows convenient access to Pozezdrze, and from there to Giżycko or Węgorzewo. Nearby, there are many beautiful places and tourist attractions, led by the former German bunkers. A landmark of Sztynort is the Palace of the von Lehndorff family – a powerful Prussian noble family. This 17th-century building hosted Bishop Ignacy Krasicki. The residence is surrounded by a park with a beautiful oak alley and a classicist pavilion from the 18th century and a tea house. A little further away, between the lakes Łabap and Sztynorckie, there is also the mausoleum of the Lehndorffs in the shape of an octagonal rotunda. The Sztynort area abounds in bike paths and hiking trails. It is also a great base for hiking trips. Marked trails will lead to viewpoints, bunkers in Mamerki, and around Lake Mamry. In our port, there is almost everything necessary during your stay. Three restaurants, a port grill, an ice cream parlor, a campsite, a sauna, a guarded parking lot, fast transport on the WJM trail (water TAXI), a sailing and fishing shop, Bakista market, ATM, laundry, gas station, rentals and charters of water equipment, bike rental, Sailing and Ecology Museum, and a friendly sailing school. After all activities, I invite you to the historic park with 300-year-old oaks.
