Description
At the end of a Jurassic village, where the asphalt ends not far away and the view of hills, valleys, trees and two medieval castles in the distance begins, there stands a small house among decades-old junipers. But not so ordinary - it's a house built to follow the sun, mimicking the heliotropism of plants (for those who prefer shade you can stop it at any time :) It's less than 30m², and it fit the whole idea of living, slower, calmer and more in tune with nature. It was created from a moment of delight - that moment when you can't take your eyes off the landscape and the thought of returning to the city hurts. These were our feelings when we first saw the place. The cottage spins not only to please the eyes - but also because it makes sense. Solar sense. The photovoltaics on the roof will produce about 30% more energy than standard. The sun's rays will heat the walls, reduce electricity consumption on cold days. Energy storage will provide electricity for air conditioning. The house rotates about 240 degrees in 12 hours, the rotation from east to west starts in the morning. It is worth uncovering the windows from the east and enjoy the first rays of the sun and the slowly changing landscape. At night, the house returns to the east and repeats the cycle. The movement of the cottage is virtually imperceptible and inaudible. The rotating mechanism consumes about 55 watts of electricity. The concept of the cottage, the technical design, the interior design, the arrangement of the environment and the execution, own and unique :) Inside, light wood, custom furniture and ammonites embedded in the table and kitchen countertop. It's the details, but of those that remain in the memory. Living room with dining area and Italian sofa with comfortable full mattress for two. Kitchen corner with induction, coffee maker, toaster and all the rest of the useful appliances. A bathroom with large cotton towels, which will come in handy after a bath in the wood-fired tub. In the refrigerator you will find something for coffee, drinks and a surprise ! Air conditioning will give relief in hot weather and warmth when it gets cooler. There are mosquito nets! No TV :) Monitored area, internal alarm. Morning coffee and breakfast with a view is best on the roof terrace. Or a glass of Jurassic wine in the evening. Next to the cottage tempts a wood-fired tub and a gas grill - included in the price! In the vicinity, castles in Bobolice and Mirów, climbing rocks, biking trails, hills, forests and paths that lead to nowhere - or maybe just where you need to be...Peace and nature at your fingertips...If you are lucky, you can see soaring sea eagles or ravens, increasingly numerous in Jura. The cottage is for two adults only, non-smokers only. We charge a refundable deposit of PLN 1000. We will ask you to pay it to an account, which we will give you after booking. During the period of work at the winery, the cottage will be unavailable for a few days in April, May and September. In the remaining time it is waiting for you :) You are welcome, Aneta and Marek
