A FEW WORDS ABOUT US To get to Plajn, a tiny village on the edge of Warmia, in the land of Oberland, where there are only ten farms, you have to get off the road, love nature and know how to delight in life. My parents' car also once turned off the national seven - and to their eyes appeared a real village with cows, chickens, sheep and stretching fields and forest on the horizon. Delighted, they counted nests and storks strolling through the meadows until they saw a beautiful, though dilapidated historic arcaded house. My dad's engineering spirit felt the call to action, and my mother's painterly nature - also saw in this picture our family, that is, them and me - Pauline, not forgetting the dogs and cats. Over time, our family picture expanded to include Philip and our daughter Jagna. Today we welcome the three of you here along with our indispensable plajn team. Today the restored habitat is also open to you. When you cross the gate of our agritourism - the Garden of Good Thoughts, cozy rooms, natural cuisine full of homemade flavors, numerous corners of relaxation and, above all, a family atmosphere await you. Guests return to us the way you return to your own home. With us you will not only rest, eat well and relax, but above all spend a nice time with your family, friends, or yourself - far from the noise and clamor of big cities. SLEEPING Guest rooms maintained in the climate of nature's colors are waiting for you. They are comfortably furnished in an idyllic atmosphere and have their own bathrooms. All 16 rooms are located in three buildings: the heritage-listed Undercroft House, Marian's House and the Barn, which are surrounded by the greenery of the Garden of Good Thoughts with ponds, a fireplace and a playground for children. At the time of booking, it is not possible to choose a specific room, in a specific building, but we take into account the preferences of our guests whenever possible. ..................... KUCHNIA Our kitchen is bustling with life, and we can compose a person's library from cookbooks in Plajny. We love serving new dishes, combining tradition with experimentation, what is local with what is from the world. We are close to vege cuisine, but supporters of more standard dishes will also find something for themselves in our menu. We have our own vegetable garden, plajno preserves, and eggs next door. At our place you will eat homemade bread, baked by us, and cow's cheese prepared at our place. Plus delicious pastas, dumplings and soups. Our tables are abundant, colorful, and guests laugh that, as on Christmas Eve, they want to try every dish, because the eyes crave and the stomach allows, because we cook light and healthy. We serve long lazy breakfasts- 55 pln (children 2-9 years : 25 pln) and hearty three-course dinners- 85 pln (children 2-9 years : 40 pln) If you wish to have dinner on the day of arrival, please let us know min. 2 days before arrival We prepare dinners for mninimum of 6 adult guests. Please let us know in advance if you wish to have vegetarian meals Throughout the day, enjoy coffee and our herbal-tea buffet. In our habitat there is no access to a kitchen and the possibility to prepare your own meals. There are refrigerators in the common areas for guests' use. ..................... ON-SITE PLEASURES - in each house you will find common areas with a library and board games, - a spacious green garden with deck chairs and plenty of space for lounging on a blanket, - a place for a bonfire, - bike trails among the fields and forests/bikes can be rented from us on site (30 PLN/bike) - and for the soul and body: sauna and Ayurvedic Indian massage and Hawaiian lomi lomi nui (In the period 14-19.08.2024 massages will not be available) ...................... FOR CHILDREN: playground, toys and books, travel cribs, feeding chairs and dishes ....................... WHAT'S IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD: - a lake with a beach and a pier (20 min by car) - in Miłakowo or Wuksniki ( 30 min) - goat farm with organic cheeses ( 15 min by car), - golf course (20 min by car), - canoeing (20 min by car), - Malbork (1h by car), - seaside beach (50 min by car), - ostróda-Elba canal cruise ( marina 30min by car), - besides: Lidzbark Warmiński, Frombork, Olsztynek. ............. ANIMALS We have our own 5 cats, permanently 1 dog, and sometimes 3 :) Would you like to come with your own pooch? Be sure to let us know before you come.We will discuss it together. It is possible to come with some dogs. It is not possible to come with your own cats and other pets.
