Description
Our Settlement consists of two year-round wooden cottages that stand on a meadow. Yes... in a meadow. There are no paved boulevards here. One walks to the cottages on the grass, through an old post-German orchard, and has a view of the forest and meadow. The biggest advantage is the large panoramic windows, through which, sitting in the cottage, you can admire the most perfect work of art - nature. During the grazing season, you'll see our horses through them, but not only... deer, foxes and hares also come, and sometimes it's the neighbor's cows. Another plus - although maybe not for everyone - is the open space in the cottages. The only doors are the front door and the door to the bathroom along with the toilet. There are no walls dividing the space into small cubicles, so it's spacious. The bedroom is located upstairs. There are four single beds that can be pushed together to make twin beds. There is also a play area for children. It should be noted here that the stairs leading upstairs are safe. Downstairs there is a living room with a double corner sofa bed. The kitchen also located downstairs is fully equipped. And here I will pause for a longer moment, because the kitchen - I say this with a clear conscience - is like home. When we were at the design stage I pointed out to Jack that the kitchen had to be such that I could have Christmas Eve there. Well, that's what it is. There's a four-burner induction cooktop, an oven, a dishwasher, a microwave and a normal-sized refrigerator with a three-drawer freezer (for ice cream in the heat of summer, as it should be). There is also an electric kettle capsule maker and - significant from my point of view - a filtering overflow water pitcher. The table that stands there will calmly accommodate 6 people and they won't be knocking elbows at all. As for the bathroom, it is together with the toilet. There is a walk-in shower stall. Each of the cottages has a large terrace, perfect for coffee or breakfast outdoors. And after your belly is full, you can settle into the arms of Orpheus. A hammock that can be hung from the pergola is perfect for this.
