Relaxation in the Tuchola Forests? Why not! The surrounding forests have been attracting a mass of tourists from all corners of Poland for many years - even from the most distant ones. Why? The answer is simple, because here you really can relax... The rustle of trees, the singing of birds, clean and iodine-rich air, close contact with nature... not to mention the quick access via the highway from Trójmiasto, Łódź, Warsaw, etc. What more could you want, right? Our Settlement is located in the village of Stara Rzeka in the heart of the Wda Landscape Park, in total wilderness. You won't find any industry or large sources of noise in the area. Among other things, this is why the first silence path in Poland was created here, where the intensity of natural sounds is only 35-38 decibels. In the Stara Rzeka Settlement, you will find a wonderful, unique view of the Wda River and the surrounding forests, distinctive interiors with a stove-type fireplace. You can warm up in the outdoor hot tub or sauna. You can take walks, ride a bike, go mushroom picking. You will discover wonderful nature reserves. You will spend "quality time" with your loved ones. We offer four separate, fully equipped cottages. Three have a usable area of 45 m2. On the ground floor of each cottage, there is a living room with a kitchenette and a 28 m terrace, as well as a bathroom. The upper floor is an open space with one double bed and two single beds. The cottage is designed for two adults or a family of 2+2, 2+3, maximum 2+4. Our last cottage is a premium cottage, which has two separate bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. The bedroom with a view of the river has one double bed and a freestanding bathtub. The bedroom facing the forest has one double bed and one single bed. Downstairs there is a living room with a kitchenette and a table for 6 people. There is also a fold-out corner sofa, which can accommodate two additional people. On the terrace, we have placed a private jacuzzi. If you adhere to the principle of "slow" tourism, traveling without a specific plan, without ticking off places from the "must see" list. Moreover, if you want to escape from the daily hustle and bustle or the crowded city - the Stara Rzeka Settlement is the perfect place for you! We invite you! Additional information: * The minimum rental period is 2 days. * We do not prohibit bringing children, but the booker should take into account the decor and construction of the cottages, i.e. steep stairs, lack of railings on the home terraces, a large number of steps, location in the forest (ants, mosquitoes, and other insects), etc. * We charge a refundable deposit of 500 PLN (payable in cash on site). * The sauna and hot tub are available to all guests. Prior reservation is required. Usually, we light the hot tub stove ourselves, and guests are asked to add wood until the optimal water temperature is reached. The sauna operates on a self-service basis. * Firewood, kindling, and sticks for the bonfire are available to all guests. * We provide firewood for the fireplace free of charge. * The one-time fee for a pet is 200 PLN per stay. * The cost of renting an electric bike is 70 PLN/day. It is possible to order breakfasts in the form of baskets. The price for an adult is 100 PLN (50 PLN for a child under 14). The minimum number of ordered breakfasts is 2. The contents of the breakfasts change daily and can be composed of the following ingredients: * fresh bread * dairy (yogurts/butter/cheese/milk for cereals/cheese/home-made eggs) * cold cuts/sausages * vegetables (tomato/cucumber/lettuce/radish/pepper) * freshly squeezed juice * jam * vegetable salad * egg/fish spread * smoked fish/pickled fish * bacon/onion for scrambled eggs * pancakes * something sweet for coffee Note! The breakfast composition depends on the guests' preferences, the availability of goods, and the creativity of the owners ;) A single breakfast does not include all the ingredients listed above!
