A self-contained cottage with no neighbors, located in a unique area just 75 km from Poznań. Ostoja nad Notecią is situated among the picturesque hills of the Czarnków Moraine, which I call the "Goraj Bieszczady" for a reason. This place is created for those seeking peace, nature, and true relaxation away from the city. The cottage is designed for 2 people — perfect for a romantic getaway for two, an anniversary, a peaceful weekend close to nature, but also for a cozy trip out of town with a friend. You will find a loft, a cozy living room with a kitchen, a dining area, and a bathroom. Pets are also welcome — the area is partially fenced. Guests have access to a gazebo, a bonfire area, a grill, and a cauldron, which make evenings under the stars here have a unique atmosphere. This place offers a wealth of opportunities for active recreation. The surrounding hills and forest paths lead, among other things, to the former Hochberg castle in Goraj (currently a boarding school for the Forest School Complex). For those who enjoy discovering local histories, I have prepared an original outdoor Quest "About the Castle in Goraj," which allows you to learn about the history of the Hochberg family and the extraordinary nature of the area. The local forests and nature-educational paths will be loved by cyclists, runners, and Nordic walking enthusiasts. This is where the Goraj Morena Trail takes place — unique mountain runs organized in October. The proximity of the Noteć River also offers the possibility of organizing a kayaking trip. And if you don't feel like doing anything at all — that's perfect too. You can lie in a hammock, listen to the birds singing and the sounds of "wild neighbors" — deer or wild boars. You can lazily enjoy your morning coffee on the nearby hills, looking at the Noteć valley and simply relax. On hot days, the Długie Lake in Lubasz, located just 3 km from Ostoja, provides relief. Just the fact that I came to Ostoi for the third time should be enough for a rating. Third time's a charm? I wasn't disappointed ;) This is a place of peace, quiet, the rustle of trees, the scent of nature, and absolute disconnection from the world. At night you can gaze at the stars, during the day you can go herb picking, watch the river, or simply do nothing. The cottage is cozy, ergonomic, and comfortable. Decorated with class and taste. Fully equipped kitchenware, basic spices, coffee, and tea are available. You can use the grill or the bonfire. Always clean, impeccable. Mrs. Karolina is a caring and kind hostess. She responds quickly to messages.

Ostoja is a true sanctuary for anyone looking to escape the daily hustle and bustle. Our romantic getaway for two turned out to be a perfect choice. It is an ideal base for a complete reset of the mind. The lack of neighbors and direct contact with nature (the concert of birds from the very morning!) create a unique atmosphere. – The porch is the perfect place for morning coffee, and the gazebo and grill work wonderfully during cozy evenings. Additionally, the location allows for interesting excursions – we recommend a walk to the viewpoint and visiting the historic palace in Goraj. Pros: - No television (a huge advantage for a reset!) - Wonderful, quiet surroundings and complete privacy - Extremely friendly and efficient communication with the hostess - Great outdoor space (gazebo, porch, grill) Things to keep in mind :-) - The cabin has stable phone reception, so if you plan a complete digital detox without temptation, you need to silence your phone yourself. In summary: we rate our stay 11 out of 10. We will definitely return here for another short vacation!

I am a person who actively enjoys spending leisure time, whether working in the garden or around the house, as well as trips to the mountains. I built this house with the idea of fulfilling my dream- to have a house "in the mountains" and to share the beauty of this area of mine:). I succeeded. I am a mom, a nature teacher by profession, and with friends I founded a foundation that, among other things, organizes activities for children, in nature. I consider this place unique in the sense that spending time here, you can calm down, move to the hills of the Chernarus Moraine, which are at your fingertips, drink your morning coffee there, admiring the sunrise or enjoy the singing of birds while watching the sunset.
