🌼🌺🐰🐑 A cottage on the upper floor of grandpa Alek's former carpentry workshop with a Tatra panorama from the large balcony. A cozy beach by the stream at the end of the property, a garden, a playground. You can pet chickens, ducks, and rabbits. Behind the fence, there are often sheep and cows, the calves of a friendly shepherd. Most sheep graze in the meadows during warm weather, and in winter you will find a whole flock in the sheepfold behind the fence. Nearby are the largest thermal baths and numerous attractions, mountain trails, and valleys. Right next to it is a bus stop. Easy and quick access to Zakopane. We have organized sleeping arrangements in the loft, from where there is a view of the garden with a playground and mountain forests. On the first level, there is a relaxation area with a living room featuring a large sofa, a smart TV with access to Netflix, books, and a radio, a dining table with four chairs, a fully equipped kitchenette with a coffee machine, and a bathroom with a shower. We are also open to the youngest guests; we can provide a travel cot (ask in advance!), but remember that we also have steep stairs. 🪜 🏡🌲 The sheep are located further from the street, and the windows face the garden. Therefore, apart from the crowing of a rooster with a telling name Alvaro, nothing will disturb your peace. You have arrived in a village, so don't be surprised that we raise chickens and our neighbor is a true shepherd. He has sheep and herding dogs. There will be plenty to pet, feed, and observe, as encountering farm animals is a daily occurrence here. We also have a young orchard, a vegetable garden, a berry patch, and a piece of green meadow where kids can run around. In short, there is plenty to do, places to relax, people to have a bonfire with, and to taste highlander delicacies. We are on-site, so we will ensure that you are surrounded only by pleasure. ⛰️🏔️ We are in the mountain village of Witów, which shyly sits by the banks of the Black Dunajec. Compared to other Podhale resorts, it lacks nothing, maybe just the crowds that can be found there in the season. There are thermal baths (and quite large ones) and just a few steps to the slope, thus the synonyms of a successful holiday in the Tatras have been fulfilled. However, we must warn mountain climbers that reaching the nearest peak, Magura Witowska, is not tiring at all; fortunately, the nearby valleys: Chochołowska, Kościeliska, and Lejowa are just 5 - 10 minutes away. As a cherry on top, we will provide you with a few trusted addresses where you can eat well, regionally and otherwise, where to buy oscypek cheese and nice souvenirs from your travels. So come to us in summer and winter. Both in season and out of it. 😉 REGULATIONS dated 06.06.2026 - Rules for the daily rental of the house named "Sheep Behind the Fence" in Witów STAY RULES: 1. Monitored area. We welcome guests without pets, no parties, bringing third parties, or noise. 2. Only adults and children registered during the booking may stay on the premises. Adults' age 18+. Younger ones only with parents. 3. Guests are responsible for their own safety and that of their children, with strict supervision, e.g., stairs, garden, stream, around machines and agricultural tools. Contact with animals requires following the Host's instructions. 4. You can park one car on our property. The parking lot and part of the property are paved with stones. The distance from the parking lot to the house is about 60m, including about 20m on green areas. 5. Smoking is prohibited in the house. Close the doors and windows of the house if you smoke on the balcony. 6. You are obliged to sort waste according to accepted norms (paper, plastic, bio, mixed, glass). 7. No shoes in the house (barefoot or soft slippers, leave shoes on the racks). 8. It is forbidden to bring skis, sleds, bicycles, etc., into the house, or to enter the balcony or house in crawlers and ski boots. There are rentals in the area, but first, ask if we can store anything. 9. Do not take the building's equipment outside: chairs, bedding, decorative pillows, etc. 10. We heat and cool with air conditioning, which is controlled by the Guests (max. 23°C). 11. Close doors and windows when no one is present or when heating/cooling is on. 12. We provide WiFi in the property at no extra charge. 13. Grill - we provide wood for one lighting to start. After that, you use your briquettes or wood from us for 35 PLN per bag. 14. Do not use items that increase the risk of fire in the house: burners, camping heaters, etc. 15. Without our knowledge, do not change the settings of the heating, water installation, do not touch smoke detectors, etc. 16. Found items will be kept for 7 days. We can send them back at your expense. 17. Leave a good impression: do not put unwashed dishes and cutlery in the cupboards - place them in the dishwasher. Take sorted waste to the bin outside. Do you have something for our chickens? Leave it in the fridge :) RESERVATION 1. Check-in: 16:00 to 22:00 - The presence of the person making the reservation and valid identification is required. Check-out: 6:00 to 10:30. Hotel day: 16:00 to 10:30. Quiet hours from 22:00 to 6:00. 2. Reservation: A deposit of 50% (currency PLN) is required. The remaining amount must be credited to our account no later than 7 days before arrival, under the penalty of cancellation of the reservation without notice and the right to a refund of the deposit. We reserve the right to cancel the reservation within 48 hours of its submission. 3. Cancellation: Depends on the date and offer - for details click the sign (?). In every offer, 100% of the stay amount becomes non-refundable 7 days before arrival. Third parties may have different conditions. 4. Change of date: Possible once, no later than 7 days before arrival, for a date up to 90 days from the previous one. The change requires payment of 100% non-refundable stay amount along with any surcharges for a more expensive date. 5. Without written consent: the reservation cannot be transferred, resold, or exchanged for other people during the stay. SAFETY RULES 1. Violation of rules / Reservation not in accordance with the Regulations: Guests, at the Host's request, agree to immediately leave the property and parking and waive all claims and payments. 2. We refuse to check in with pets and children or adults not reported during the reservation, persons under the influence of intoxicants, vulgar, aggressive. 3. Guests are responsible for entrusted property: surroundings, building, equipment, claims due to their own and children's behavior. Damages must be reported immediately and voluntarily covered. 4. Smoking in prohibited places - contractual penalty of 2000 PLN. Loss of keys: 300 PLN. 5. We reserve the right to enter the property without prior notice in case of suspicion of danger to life or property, violation of the Regulations, malfunction, or activation/deactivation of alarms. 6. We are not responsible for guests' vehicles and items regardless of where they are left; extremely rare, but possible field events on neighboring plots; quality of services and actions of third parties. 7.
