Description
Płomykówka is a home designed as a base for exploring the Tatra Mountains and their natural beauty. This cozy, wooden house, with an area of approximately 85 m², was designed with comfort and a connection to nature in mind. It has three levels, including two classic bedrooms and a charming loft space in the attic. One of the levels houses a bathroom, and large windows provide natural light and open up views of the mountain panorama and the Tatra forests. We are very much looking forward to your arrival and have provided arrival instructions below. We would appreciate your adherence to check-in times due to our team members’ work schedules and our desire to ensure you have the best possible experience. Płomykówka is a mountain cabin located away from the main buildings—a paved road leads to it—you may find that you have to walk a few dozen meters to the cabin—that’s part of the charm of this place :) On-site, there is both a parking lot right next to the cottages for 1 car (accessed via a steep driveway recommended for very experienced drivers), and a larger, flatter parking lot for the remaining cars along the road leading from the paved road to our property (80 meters above the cottages) (in which case, you’ll need to walk down the path from the parking lot to the cottages). Before arriving, please check the weather conditions—in summer, heavy rain can make the area muddy; in winter, winter tires are required, and we recommend 4x4 vehicles and having snow chains on hand. Our hostess will arrange the details of your arrival with you, hand you the keys, and show you around the house. This is part of a complex that includes two other small cottages—Wilcza Polana and Czarny Domek. Guests staying in these cottages also have access to booking the sauna and hot tub for private sessions at the spa. It’s a central location, yet full of peace and quiet—situated near Bukowina and Białka, just 20 minutes from Zakopane and about 30 minutes from the Slovakian ski slopes. The property features a private spa area with a dry sauna and a wooden hot tub (without hydromassage), available for booking with the host for an additional fee—150 PLN per session lasting 2–2.5 hours. Guests have the entire house at their disposal, including an open living room with a comfortable sofa, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, dishwasher, and coffee makers (capsule and Moccamaster), and a dining room with a table for six. The centerpiece of the interior is a wood-burning stove, which creates a cozy atmosphere on cooler days. The house has been finished to a high standard using natural, local materials. The living room features a Sonos sound system, and the attic offers a nook for working or relaxing with a book. Outside, there are two terraces—one perfect for morning coffee with a view of the mountains, the other for evening relaxation surrounded by the forest. Together, they create a harmonious space conducive to rejuvenation, closeness to nature, and peaceful relaxation at any time of year.
