La Posada Cabaña Real de Carreteros, located in the Soria town of Casarejos, is built in what was an 18th century carters' house, belonging to the association "La Cabaña Real de Carreteros" founded by the Catholic Monarchs, official carriers of the Kingdom who transported goods in their carts. The house has been rebuilt with the same materials as in the past, such as clay, stone and wood, and the original architecture of the house has been respected. On the first floor there are two wooden gates through which the carts and oxen were once kept and which now house the reception, the living room and the restaurant. On the second floor where the kitchen and the bedrooms were, 8 double rooms have been fitted out, surrounding an interior balcony from which the whole house can be seen. The old kitchen with the typical basket fireplace has also been respected. All our rooms have the name of a village in the region, specifically those on the second floor are the room Cerrillo, Carrascal, Torcajón, Ganchuelo, Regollar, Vegazos, Casares and Valderueda. On the second floor, where the hayloft used to be, there are 6 more rooms, all of them attic rooms. The names of the rooms are Caño, Pradocotonal, Matarruya, Valihondo, Regachales and Hornillo. All our rooms have the best services of a big hotel but with the personalized and cozy service of a rural house. They have digital TV, full bathroom with personalized toiletries, hairdryer, some of them with whirlpool tub. Free WIFI throughout the premises. At the back of the house there is a beautiful garden terrace with wrought iron tables and chairs surrounded by a stone wall and plants of all kinds. On the first floor we find the reception, and a small bar for the exclusive use of the guests, living room with fireplace, board games, small library with books mostly from the province of Soria, television and a piano for music lovers. Pets Pets are NOT allowed in our establishment. Noises This inn is a place of rest and tranquility, so you can not make noise from 23:30 to 8:00 hours (unless you have contracted all the rooms). Committed to the environment Because of our location within the natural park of Cañón del Río Lobos and what we have been taught since we were children, in our inn we are fully committed to the environment, so all the local lights are low consumption led, thermostatic faucets for energy and water saving and biomass heating. All waste is sorted and deposited in different containers. let's take care of this gift that is nature, it belongs to everyone !!!!
