To those who succeed, they repay with the fullness of their charm and magic. To reach these places, it is not at all necessary to leave Poland. In our country, too, they are scattered all over the country. One of them is Private Village. Additional information : If you are drawn to the water we are already rushing with coordinates: - The closest you have to Lake Pluszne Małe - 1.5 km on foot - here a pier from which you can jump, fish, lie with your face or back to the sun. - Slightly farther, because 2.5 km is to Lake Pluszne Wielkie, to the Zielonowo beach. Here a sandbar and a pier. - With Pluszny Mały, the Swierkocin Canal, is connected with Lake Pond, and this again with Lake Low and further High. We have plenty of water. It is worth renting canoes, for example in Olsztynek (canoeing down the Marózka or Lyna), Pluski (canoeing down the Marózka, Lyna or on the lakes) or in Swaderki (canoeing down the Marózka). You can walk through the village to the Pasleka River or to its very sources and a waterfall on the river, about 2 km from the house. If you have the opportunity, be sure to take bicycles with you - the countryside is just asking to be explored on two wheels. Well, and you can easily cover more kilometers, and we have an idea for these kilometers: Learn about the history of the region and drive to the vicinity of Mielno - about 16 km (the Warmian one), where you will find a Pak-type battle shelter and 8 passive shelters. Such a density of fortifications preserved in fairly good condition to this day, is an unusual rarity in Warmia and Mazury. Just beyond Debowa Gora (16 km) in the nearby forest you will find an old Masurian cemetery. Few tombstones have survived in the cemetery, and those that remain are very dilapidated, but your attention will certainly be drawn to one in excellent condition. It was restored a few years ago, and the descendants of the residents of the nearby village buried here are tending it and taking care of the grave. During your bicycle tour you should also hook up with Manki (in the other direction than Oak Mountain) - 14 km from Mierek. Here there is a renovated church from 1685 and expanded in 1770. Next to the church in Manki there is an old Masurian cemetery from the 17th century, where many old cast-iron grave crosses have been preserved. The oldest of these dates back to 1878. In the same cemetery is the grave of 5 soldiers of the German army, killed in late August 1914.
