Description
Pszczołowisko is a unique place—created with pollinators in mind, offering them a safe and natural habitat. People also thrive in this environment. We ensure that everything we create is as close to nature as possible and meets ecological standards. We primarily offer a straw bale house, designed to leave behind as small a footprint and as little waste as possible. The walls and ceiling are made of straw, the plaster is clay, the structure is wood, and the bathroom is finished with traditional tadelakt. It is a simple, natural, and authentic place. You won’t find Wi-Fi, running water, or a flush toilet here—it’s a space that allows you to slow down, disconnect from the excess of stimuli, and return to a simpler rhythm of life. Here, you can experience an RPG session, peek into a beehive and get an up-close look at the world of bees, sample bee products, go on a bike ride, take part in an outdoor game, or explore interesting places in the area. A chemical toilet or a traditional outhouse is available; you can wash up in a basin or take a solar shower, and prepare meals on a gas stove. Evenings can be spent by the campfire, and on cooler days, the interior is heated by a wood-burning stove. Fragrant herbs grow all around—hyssop, sage, and thyme—and the constant buzz of bees fills the air. A forest stretches right next door, and the Wierzyca River flows just 300 meters away. Pszczołowisko is an invitation to simplicity, nature, and true rest—a real digital detox.
