Description
If you’re planning a vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you’re sure to feel right at home here. A genuine world awaits you here—the kind you might find tucked away in the recesses of your memory. Everything here is authentic. Horses in the meadow and chickens pecking at fresh grass. Old apple trees and garden beds fenced with a stick fence. Sękiewiczówka invites you to its doorstep, to idyllic cottages surrounded by the forest. Enjoy the charms of nature and visit our agritourism farm for children, families, couples, and groups of friends. Our agritourism complex includes our house (the one with blue shutters), the Cottage by Bobrowisko, and the Little Cottage. While staying with us, you are free to move about and enjoy the vast grounds of our 7-hectare agritourism property (we have 2 orchards, a forest, a pasture, a garden, and streams). The Cottage by Bobrowisko, measuring 60 m², comfortably accommodates 6 people. Downstairs, there is a living room, dining room, kitchen (fully equipped), one bedroom (with one double bed), and a bathroom with a shower. Upstairs, there are two more bedrooms (each with two single beds). Additionally, there is a covered porch at your disposal, where you can enjoy a morning coffee while listening to the birds sing. This cottage is the farthest from the other buildings (about 400 m), so it is undoubtedly the most secluded. The cottage is heated by a fireplace and is available year-round. The Small Cottage has one room with three beds: one large bed on the ground floor and one mattress on the loft. The cottage features a kitchenette with a table, a bathroom with a bathtub, and an entryway. The cottage is located right next to the old orchard and the stable, and near our house. The Small Cottage is heated by a wood-burning stove and is available year-round. For dinner, we recommend nearby restaurants or cooking in the cozy cottage kitchens. Basic items like spices and oil are provided. If you like the wooden cutting boards you’ll find in the cottages, you can buy them from us. They’re our own work, and we’ve been making these boards for years. What can you do here? Most of all, we’d like you to just relax! Yes, exactly. Get a taste of unhurried country life, sit on the porch and gaze into the distance, forget to check what’s going on on Instagram. Instead, read that book you never had time for before, and maybe take a few more steps than the recommended 8,000 a day. But we also have a few suggestions for what you can do: – enjoy the entire vast grounds of our farm: take walks, lie in the grass, pick fruit in the orchard, dip your feet in the stream, – interact with our animals, collect eggs from the hens for breakfast, – relax in a hammock or on a lounge chair, – have evening bonfires and barbecues (we have a cauldron for you), – go for walks in the area, – take horseback riding lessons, – go on a trip (e.g., to Biecz or Gorlice), – in the summer, you can visit the Klimkówka Reservoir. Besides us, our animals live in Sękiewiczówka: we have 7 horses, 3 goats, a flock of chickens, 3 cats, and 4 dogs. Our horses roam freely in the pasture—we let them out at night, and also during the day if it doesn’t bother our guests. For this reason, the cottages are fenced in. Although it does happen that a curious little pony might peek over the fence from time to time. But despite that, we also welcome you with your four-legged friends. In the summer, we host small horseback riding camps for children (max. 6 kids), who stay with us in the house. So it may be that there will be more people on the farm, but it’s peaceful and shouldn’t disturb your relaxation. Do you need any more encouragement? We’re waiting for you!
