SLOW SZOPA – forest, silence, and zero comforts. Seriously. Let’s start with what is NOT here, because that’s the most important: ⛔ There is no electricity. None. You won’t charge your phone, turn on the hairdryer, or heat anything in the microwave. ⛔ There is no running water. Water comes from a well and is not suitable for drinking, so you bring your own. ⛔ There is no bathroom in the cabin. There is a dry forest toilet and an outdoor forest shower, even when it rains and when it’s cold. ⛔ There is no "automatic" heating. There is a stove that you light yourself. If you don’t light it, it’s cold. ⛔ The sauna and hot tub don’t heat themselves either. You light them manually with wood, and the hot tub needs a few hours to warm up. ⛔ There is no Wi-Fi, and the signal can be non-existent. ⛔ After rain, there is mud. At night it is really dark, and you can hear the forest: owls, deer, sometimes wild boars. ⛔ The hot tub is filled with groundwater that has a high iron content, hence its rusty color. This is natural, but if you expect a clear jacuzzi, this is not the place. If after this list you feel disappointed, don’t book. This is not the place for you, and that’s completely OK. 🙂 If, however, you feel excitement, keep reading, because this place was created just for you. 🌲 WHAT YOU GET IN RETURN 6000 m² of private, wild forest just for you. No neighbors, no notifications, no rush. 14 km from Zielona Góra, as if on another planet. In the evening, you light the stove (in winter it keeps 21°C at -12°C outside, if you know how to light it), you manually light the sauna and hot tub, and sit by the campfire. Sauna, then a cold bath under the stars, and back to the warmth: a forest spa that you worked for, and that makes it taste twice as good. At night, owls and silence that you don’t know from the city. In the morning, coffee from the forest kitchen and a forest that belongs only to you. 🛖 TWO CABINS – BEAVER AND RACCOON Each for 2 people. Beaver: triangular, 3 meters high, with a view of the sunsets. Raccoon: with a rooftop terrace, perfect for stargazing. Are you coming as a couple? You choose a cabin, the other one stays empty, and the whole forest is just for you. Coming as three or four? You rent both cabins, with an additional charge of 290 PLN for each person over two. For adults and children from 12 years old. No pets. We love them, but to maintain the peace and character of the place, the Raccoon remains a pet-free space. 🪵 ON SITE YOU WILL FIND Dishes, cutlery, pots and glasses, candles, matches and lanterns, wood and kindling for the stove, sauna, and campfire, sauna, hot tub, forest kitchen with a covered grill, deck chairs, forest bathroom with toilet paper and cleaning supplies, and a bowl with dishwashing liquid. In the evening, solar lights illuminate the area. The property is monitored. 🎒 MAKE SURE TO BRING Drinking water (a lot!), food, coffee and tea, towels, flip-flops and swimwear, a headlamp, mosquito repellent, warm clothes (even in summer nights can be chilly), and charcoal. 🐴 THE AREA Within 15 km: horseback riding (Pasja Ługi), Prince’s Park in Zaton, bike trails, and meadows as far as the eye can see. 📍 Czasław, Otyń commune, Lubusz Voivodeship We will speed up check-in or delay check-out if possible.
