Sowia Ostoja Owl Mountains Welcome to the newly opened intimate hotel Sowia Ostoja, a beautifully preserved and renovated building from 1860. Original old floorboards in the hotel and a very cozy modern interior. Here you can escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. We offer tranquility and closeness to nature. The area is a dream place for skiing and horseback riding enthusiasts. The hotel is located in Sokolce. It is the highest village in the Gmina Nowa Ruda. It stretches at an altitude of about 530 m above sea level to 850 m above sea level. It lies in the valley of the Sowy Stream and in the depression between the Wyrębińskie Hills and the massif of Wielka Sowa. Above Sokolce, at an altitude of 1015 m above sea level, rises the highest peak in the Owl Mountains – Wielka Sowa. A picturesque place among numerous hiking and biking trails, you can discover charming routes leading to peaks such as Wielka Sowa, Mała Sowa, Kalenica, and Sokolica. From these points, there is a picturesque view of the entire Sudetes, creating a unique atmosphere. We offer rental of rooms and apartments or the entire property. An ideal place for a weekend with family, gatherings with friends, or sports trips in the mountains. We have 6 cozy rooms, each with its own bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. Our offer includes double rooms with a double bed, triple rooms with three single beds, quadruple rooms with two double beds or single beds, a 6-person room with 1 double bed and 4 single beds or 6 single beds, and a 7-person room with 2 double beds and 3 single beds or 7 single beds. Each room has been furnished with attention to detail, ensuring guests comfort and relaxation. Each room is equipped with a refrigerator and an electric kettle. On the ground floor, guests have access to two large kitchens, fully equipped; coffee machine, electric kettles, dishwasher, induction hob, refrigerator, oven, microwave, and all necessary cooking utensils, such as plates, mugs, and pots. After preparing a meal, you can host yourself in two fireplace rooms or the main room; we have a large garden with a picturesque view or a terrace by the main room. In the garden, we have a stone-lined fire pit, and in the fireplace room, a large cozy fireplace where you can sit and warm up or simply relax. The property has a large number of places, ideal for special occasions - in the hall, we have sound equipment, speakers, a microphone, and numerous disco lights ensuring good fun.
