TWO-HUNDRED-YEAR-OLD HOUSE IN THE GEOGRAPHICAL CENTER OF EUROPE: THE OLD BARN is a two-hundred-year-old house with soul, born from the love of the host (an Englishman) for local half-timbered houses and the beauty of Lower Silesia. For centuries, these lands have been visited by European aristocracy (around 3000 palaces in the area!), and today we share this unique atmosphere with you. The house is perfect for a group of friends or a family who loves living in harmony with nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. 🏡 INTERIOR AND GROUP COMFORT: Space and Privacy: The boutique, warm, and spacious house offers two floors exclusively. Even members of a large group (8-10 people) will find privacy and peace here. Layout: There are 4 bedrooms (with a bunk bed for children), a kitchenette, a dining room, and a living room with a large sofa. Comfort: Two bathrooms in the main house (one with a bathtub, the other with a shower/washing machine) and an additional bathroom in the Summer House. Year-round SPA and Winter Hit: Outside the summer season, THE OLD BARN becomes a Winter Hit thanks to: Private Jacuzzi (hot tub) available 365 days a year. A cozy stove (wood burner). Firewood is included in the reservation price (FREE!). Outdoor Living Area: A very large, fenced area borders the forest. You will find a place for a bonfire, a grill (covered gazebo), a large Outdoor Pool (season: June-September), an Outdoor Bar, and a small field kitchen. Summer House: An additional, modest wooden cabin for a couple right by the pool. NATURE TREASURES: Our village is famous for beautiful minerals – Agates – perfect for searching and collecting! SKIING WITH AN INSTRUCTOR: The village is just half an hour away from the nearest ski slopes in Świeradów-Zdrój. We provide skiers with a peaceful retreat with us, away from crowded resorts. We are happy to drive you to the slopes, and I (the Hostess) am an instructor and can offer skiing lessons! OFF-ROAD: We offer guests a ride in a Land Rover through the surrounding off-road trails (if it is operational) – a unique experience! SURROUNDINGS: Countless palaces and castles (Kaczawskie and Izerskie Mountains) and nearby lakes, mountains, and forests provide opportunities for all kinds of activities: walking, kayaking, cycling, horseback riding, and off-roading. My husband and I (originally from Wrocław) have put a lot of heart into this place. We love to share our story and show you what is the most beautiful in our still undiscovered tourist area.
