Description
Tolkien described the Suwałki region under the name of the Shire. We don't have proof, but green hills have been plentiful in our area since the last march of the glacier. The glacier also painted a lot of lakes and Central Europe's last permafrost on its farewell postcard. It was discovered recently, sleeping peacefully for 13,000 years 357 meters underground. It is kept company by deposits of iron and titanium, which sometimes stir compasses in needles. Just like our own Bermuda Triangle in Suwałki - full of bicycle paths, sounds of jazz and sights chewed with knots. And how did we end up here? It all started with a childhood crush and a failed honeymoon week. I used to come to Suwałki as a young boy to fish, pick mushrooms and wander in the forests. So when celebrating a wedding by the sea turned out to be a no-go, we quickly moved on to the warmly remembered Suwałki region. Since then we have spent most of our free days here, in love with each other and the landscapes. The sum of coincidences led us to a plot of land at Szelment Wielki. We decided to put three sister houses on it: Love, Faith and Hope. The S-size houses will work well for up to 4 people. Downstairs is an open space, with a high ceiling and huge glass windows. It houses a 2-seater sofa bed, a fireplace, a TV, a table with 4 chairs and a fully equipped kitchenette. On the mezzanine you will find 2 1-person beds, which can of course be joined together. There are books at your disposal in the cottage. In each cottage there is a bathroom with a shower. Directly from the cottage you go out to the terrace, where you can sit with a coffee on comfortable chairs or have breakfast at the coffee table. Small in body, but big in space (2 hectares of backyard with its own access to the lake) will warmly welcome couples or families. And if you would like to rent for all three of you, an intimate group of friends will also find its way here perfectly. On the plot there is a fireplace and a private pier, where you can sunbathe, and if you get too hot, just jump into the lake. You also have very close to the forest. You can go for a bike ride. Numerous lakes in the area are conducive to water sports, and you can also go to the nearby horse farm. You will certainly not experience boredom here! So who will be the first to dive into the lake?
