15 years ago we ended the typical life of corpo-bourgeois. At that time we didn't think we would anchor ourselves here in our countryside in Our House for good. The first years after we bought the first plot of land along with the wooden almost 100-year-old house, we still lived in the city, running "Home in the Swietokrzyska Forest" in Our House, which was visited by a total of about 1,500 people in six years, including the former Prime Minister of Poland. More years passed like this, until there was a final decision to close the urban chapter of our life. "House in the Forest" became Our House, to which a neighbor came with an offer to sell a plot of land nearby, along with a house from 1922. She didn't wait long for our decision! Maybe a minute? Maybe two? Papers, paperwork, permits and another 100-year-old house along with the plot became ours! In the beginning there was nothing... i.e. lots of wild bushes, mud, damaged fence, no access. Since we were already living in Our House, we devoted every spare moment to revitalizing the place. Two years passed and that's how Tu Domek came into being. We made no secret of the fact that the renovation of a dilapidated 100-year-old house tired us out a lot, and we said to ourselves at the time - for the next 5 years we would not touch a sander or decide to do at least any renovation. But as it happens in life, we were ready for further work after just a few months:) With a proposal to buy a plot of land between Our House and Here House came another neighbor. And so in early 2020 we became the owners of a total of more than 4.5 hectares of land, three 100-year-old houses, a 100-meter barn and several tons of garbage. In each house you will find a lot of elements created from what we found here. Old pipes, reclaimed wood that was used to create floors, old furniture that serves different functions today, strange things that are today pots or lamps, for example. There are hundreds of these things. And we are happy to tell you about it if you want. So take care of all the Tu Domkowa space, and we will take care of your comfort on this beautiful patch of the Swietokrzyska Forest, to which you have literally one meter. Tu Domek Tu Domek is a place where you rest very well, we guarantee it. It is a 100-year-old house after extensive renovation (more in the About Us tab). To keep in touch with the world, there is Wi-Fi at Tu Domek's disposal, but no TV. Tu Domek is heated entirely with a fireplace, so you must be prepared to bring and burn in it on your own (on the day of arrival, the wood is brought, but if the big frosts come or you like very warm rooms, it may run out and have to be brought from the woodshed). The entire Tu Cottage is about 80m2 of space, with 3 bedrooms (two bedrooms with double beds and one bedroom with two single beds), one bathroom, a common area with a dining room and a kitchen with an oven. It is comfortably prepared for 6 people. Tam Domek Tam Domek is one of two (we also have Tam Domek) of our new cottages. Built in a frame construction, in the forest, with large glazing so that you can feel the forest all over you. In order to keep in touch with the world, Wi-Fi is available at Tam Domek, but there is no TV. Tam Domek is heated entirely with a fireplace, so you must be prepared to bring and burn in it on your own (on the day of arrival, the wood is brought, but if the big frosts come or you like very warm rooms, it may run out and you have to bring it from the woodshed). The whole Tam Cottage is about 44m2 of space, with 2 bedrooms (one bedroom with a double bed downstairs and one bedroom with two single beds, on the mezzanine), one bathroom, a common area with a dining room and a kitchen. It is comfortably prepared for 4 people. An optional sofa bed is also available. That House Tamten Domek is one of two (we also have Tam Domek) of our new cottages. Built in a frame construction, in the forest, with large glass windows so that you can feel the forest all over you. Here Barn Here Barn is the central place in our Here Cottage world and at the same time the original preserved part of the more than a century old farm. Tu Barn, is not only a barn, but also stone-built outbuildings and a more than a century-old house, to which we have given a new, completely different life. The barn itself is 100 meters of artistic space, which can be rented from us, while booking accommodation in the entire Tu Domkowy world. The whole area is filled with a courtyard, where we created a place for summer gatherings out of old carpenter's tables. Tu Domek is very close to the wall of the forest, so instead of a bonfire, choose to have a barbecue (barbecue available on the premises of Tu Domek). 2.Tu Domek is in the middle of nowhere, but in the forest, where it is wonderful to relax. And we want to take care of this peace and quiet😊 We say yes to the arrival of groups of friends, bachelor and bachelorette parties unfortunately not. 3. Fireplace available during the heating season. Kindling and wood available to guests. Outside the heating season, electric heaters are available in the bedrooms of That and That House and in the bathrooms of all cottages. 4.The remaining amount should be transferred up to 7 days before arrival:) We also charge a deposit of 500 PLN refundable on the day of departure (bank transfer or cash). Change in the number of people must be reported up to 7 days before arrival (the final settlement amount will then depend on the number of people;)). We invite you!
