From Vera Grande, we welcome you and thank you for your interest in our cabin in the countryside, a place surrounded by nature and tranquility. Our cabins are located on a 60,000 m2 estate, in the heart of the La Vera region, embraced by the Sierra de Gredos, with dozens of gorges of crystal-clear waters. Please note that, due to our location in a natural environment, it is possible that insects or small animals may occasionally enter the cabin. To minimize this possibility, we recommend keeping doors closed, especially at night and with the light on, and ensuring that no food is left outdoors. IMPORTANT IN SUMMER It is forbidden to make fires or barbecues during the high fire risk period from May 27, 2026, to October 15, 2026. BARBECUE AND FIREPLACE Free use of the barbecue. We can provide a bag of charcoal + fire starters for a price of: 10 € (guests can bring their own). Price for a wheelbarrow of firewood + fire starters: 10 €. It is recommended to notify in advance.

Review for Vera Grande 2 I have always dreamed of spending a few days disconnecting in a magical little house like Vera Grande 2… and reality completely exceeded my expectations. ✨ The first thing I have to say is that as soon as I arrived, I was blown away. 😍 The house is beautiful, cozy, and has a special charm. And the location is simply magical: surrounded by nature and very close to beautiful rivers and waterfalls. Every corner invites you to disconnect, breathe, and enjoy the tranquility. The house is fully equipped. Pans, pots, glasses, cutlery… it has absolutely everything! Honestly, if you are thinking of bringing things from home, you don’t need to, because it has every little detail covered. Everything is designed for you to feel comfortable and at home from the very first moment. I have completely fallen in love with this little house. ❤️ I would stay here to live without a second thought. And what can I say about the owners… they are lovely. We didn’t meet in person because they have a super convenient system: they leave the keys in a box with a code. Even so, we were in contact via WhatsApp the whole time and they were charming and attentive. I leave here renewed, at peace, and with a full heart. 🥰 It has been just the disconnection I needed. If you are looking for a place to disconnect from the noise, connect with nature, and truly feel peace, I recommend it 100%. 🌿✨ Without a doubt, we will return very soon. The location is incredible, and the house is even prettier than it looks in the photos. It has everything you need, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom has a shower curtain on both the window facing outside and the one facing inside—something I didn’t notice in the photos, but I think it’s an important detail. Even so, the other cabins aren’t too close by, and there’s plenty of privacy—we didn’t run into a single person the whole weekend. The only thing we missed was that the pool wasn’t open, since it was hot and we were in the mood for a swim, but we’d been warned about that beforehand, so it wasn’t a problem. The place is close to the villages and some very beautiful swimming spots. What we liked best was the little terrace with views of the sunset—it looked like something out of a fairy tale. It’s a really cool option if you love nature and are looking for a few days of peace. Communication with the host was great the whole time; he recommended places and responded immediately to any questions we had. We can’t wait to go back!!!
