Welcome to the Waldhaus EICHHÖRNCHEN in Bad Schmiedeberg - spa, royal residence as well as hiking and biking town The vacation home is located on the western edge of the spa town of Bad Schmiedeberg. It is extremely quiet and secluded, virtually at the entrance to the Dübener Heide. Here you will find SILENCE, SPACE, RECOVERY and RELAXATION in the middle of nature. The house, with its rustic property, is ideal for a RETREAT. Simply let your soul dangle, perceive the music of the forest and go into yourself. What our guests have already done: Yoga in the morning sun, hiking, wedding night spent, cycling, fishing, birthday celebrated, lazing, meditating, mushroom picking, forest bathing, swimming, bouquet picking, sauna, jogging, barbecue, squirrel watching, leaves sweeping, fish feeding, game night, wood chopping, books reading, cake baking, .. The forest house EICHHÖRNCHEN has space for up to six people + a small child. It is set back 50 meters from the driveway on a 1,500 square meter property, which is fenced with a hunter's fence. The very large neighboring properties with beautiful trees give a feeling of being alone in the middle of the forest. There are two large terraces (morning and evening terrace) with solid wood benches. From the west terrace you can watch squirrels nibbling at the feeder several times a day. It is a high quality equipped wooden log house with a full basement and approx.120 m² of living and usable space. The house is bookable in all seasons. Due to an excellent, natural insulation (2x 7 cm thick pine beams and 10 cm cork chips in the interspace), a fireplace in the living room, underfloor heating on the first floor and radiators in the attic and basement is also provided in harsh winters for cozy warmth. In the house there is also a sauna and a relaxation room with shower in the basement, but it is also suitable for sleeping (double bed). The attic has two bedrooms with smart TV, they are separated by a curtain. The living room with smart TV and leather seating area is directly adjacent to the open kitchen. Numerous hunting trophies on the walls enhance the character of the forest house. All those who like forest bathing can virtually immerse themselves in the surrounding forest already from the property. There is also a garage for parking bicycles, e-bikes, strollers and various recreational equipment. On the property can park up to five vehicles free of charge.
