The Great Forest is an atmospheric 100-year-old mountain house built in the Tyrolean style in the early 20th century, which has undergone extensive renovation. However, we made sure it stayed in its original style. I love traditional designs and forest inspirations hence the idea for the furnishings and desing. The house and the entire garden is at your exclusive disposal. We also have no neighbors in the immediate vicinity which will give you comfort and a sense of privacy. Borowice is a quiet, peaceful village in the heart of Karkonosze surrounded by forest and mountains, where you will feel like in a green enclave. There is a beautiful view of Mt. Blunt Peak and Maly Szyszak, which will accompany you with your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. What you can do with us... The surroundings are conducive to recharging your batteries, resting from the rushing world, but also provide great opportunities for activity. Next to the house hiking trails , which will take you to the highest peak of the Giant Mountains or to one of my favorite hostels Odrodzenie or Luczni Bouda on the Equator below Snezhka. If you wish I will tell you about all the fantastic places to visit. Do you like bicycles? EXCELLENT. Right next to the Great Forest begins the singletrack bicycle loop of the "Giants" section of the Poświst, Blotter and Skrzat. If you do not have a suitable bicycle no problem, our friends will rent and bring to the house. Winter is the most beautiful time when you can immerse yourself in total silence and whiteness, but if you choose to be active there is endless cross-country skiing or skydiving waiting for you. When you stroll along the yellow trail 2 km, you will come to the fantastic place Podgórna Waterfall where you can start or continue your walrus adventure. If you want to know unknown places for walruses I will be happy to share it with you. The house is 4 levels with a terrace and a garden. On the terrace garden furniture, deck chairs and a barbecue. Next to the terrace is a super comfortable hammock with the best view of the mountains. If you want to use our garden with herbs you are welcome. In the garden there is a place for a bonfire with specially prepared wood. Inside the house there are 3 bedrooms and 2 living rooms with TV and sofas (also for sleeping). The TV has a rich package of programs and Netflix. Of course, there is high-speed internet for those who will need to occasionally and work. There are kitchens on two main levels: the first floor and the 1st floor. The kitchens are equipped with all the necessary accessories and condiments. We care about the environment, so we observe waste segregation and for this you have 6 segregation bins in the kitchen and large bins outside. There are two bathrooms in the building: 1st floor and level -1. Bathrooms equipped with dryers, soap and basic hygiene products in case of shortage. The upper bathroom has a toilet, bidet and shower, while the lower bathroom has a bathtub with a shower option and a washer-dryer. Sets of towels are provided. The water in our house comes from mountain intakes, so we will be pleased if it is used responsibly. We have a room inside the building for sports equipment (bicycles, skis, etc.): level -1. We are still improving our place, so you can meet the staff or hosts in the garden. Guests will be informed in advance. In winter, our house is heated by renewable energy sources. Every day we will adjust the temperature for you (wood stove) - the time of arrival of the host to be determined.
