Description
Had it not been for one decision more than seven decades ago, today's Carriage House would look very different. During the war, Jan was a young boy, and after the war ended - an experienced radio operator, decorated for merit. The authorities then gave him the opportunity to choose a house in the area where he could settle. Although he was from Rzeszow, he decided on this house - his dream house, right by the forest, twenty meters from the river. When he married Bronislava, the yard was still decorated with an old sleigh, carriage and coach. In the past, the building served as "garage" for vehicles from a bygone era. Bronislava, our grandmother, stuck to the old order - nothing could change as long as she lived. But eventually renovations became a necessity. At first, I only occasionally dropped by to fix something, armed with a hammer and drill. But then bigger challenges had to be taken on: replacing floors, renovating the roof. Together with Dominika, we transformed the place into a charming agritourism, taking advantage of all the advantages of the Beaver Valley. We organize canoeing trips here, the route of which begins right next to our house. We cordially invite you - come and discover the beauty of our river!
