Description
Nestled among golden fields and greenery, this century-old house entices with its location away from the hustle and bustle of the city and a truly rural atmosphere, while still being safely close to human settlements. The private fenced area of 1.9 hectares and the silence as if sown with poppies make it an ideal place for families, friends, or couples seeking privacy. Built in 1921, the country house features two guest bedrooms and a living room with a fireplace and a kitchen-dining area. The true treasure and heart of the house is the original, perfectly preserved, and functioning bread oven along with a hundred-year-old bread shovel. Our home is adorned with souvenirs brought from various corners of the world – the Balkans, the Netherlands, Latvia, and Iran, as well as handicrafts by Polish folk artists and more. Look for the icon painted on a board with paints mixed with red wine, which gives its colors an incredible velvety effect. Hand-decorated plates, highlander painting on glass, the majestic podłaźnik so characteristic of old village rooms, and Persian gompole are some of the details that create the unique charm of this place. From the porch, where a garden swing invites you to relax, there is a view of greenery and only greenery, and on hot days, shade is generously provided by an ancient horse chestnut and a wonderfully fragrant, sprawling linden tree. For lovers of nights under the open sky, we have prepared a large bonfire area with benches, surrounded by boulders, with electricity and water connections. We warmly invite you!
