Situated picturesquely on the slopes of Zlota Gora, 757 meters high, this cottage hides more than just the beauty of the Little Beskid landscape. Legend has it that in times of yore bandits hid their valuables here, and in the caverns hidden among the woods their lost treasures may still lie, waiting for daredevils to set out on a quest. Just 50 meters from the border of Silesia, Zlota Chata is an excellent starting point, whether you are coming from Silesia or Malopolska. My own journey to this place began many years ago, when, hiking along mountain trails, I came across this 19th century house. Even then I knew that this place would forever be in my memory. When I heard that this unique building was for sale, I didn't wait a moment - on the same day I showed up to see it up close. Then for two years I passionately and patiently restored it, trying to preserve what is most precious - its soul and unique character. I wanted the house not only to reflect history, but also to exude the warmth that fills every corner of it. I preserved the original stone foundation, on which our cat gracefully walks, and restored the old wooden floors and walls, which are imbued with the spirit of years gone by. In the garden, where silence whispers with every gust of wind, I set up a baleen, from where you can enjoy amazing views of the surrounding peaks. I invite you to a place that envelops you with tranquility and allows you to forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
