Description

Siedlisko Górnolotnie is a haven for those seeking privacy and contact with nature, away from the hustle and bustle, but with all the comforts. Here modernity blends harmoniously with nature - you will wake up, prepare and eat your meals and relax with a view of the mountains, in refined interiors that invite nature inside. The habitat is located on the trail to Karpacz and Snezka. It is surrounded by mountains - the Karkonosze Mountains to the south, the Rudawy Janowickie Mountains to the east and the Izerskie Mountains to the west, and is located in the Valley of Palaces and Gardens in the Jeleniogórska Valley, on the edge of the village of Mysłakowice. The surrounding countryside is of unparalleled beauty, and exploring it will give you a lot of pleasure - it's an ideal place for anyone who needs to truly relax and soothe the senses. Our house is set on a 2.5-acre, mostly sloping plot of land, with a sizable expanse of meadows and a piece of forest. The house partially rests on a slope in such a way as to please the eye with an unobstructed view of the panorama of the Karkonosze Mountains - large glazing, large terraces make the mountains at your fingertips. The house uses a unique inverted functional layout: a 60-square-meter living room with kitchen and dining room is located at the top, and 3 double bedrooms are located downstairs. This layout makes it even more possible to enjoy the unobstructed view of the mountains in the living area, but also to enjoy the surrounding nature in the night area - thanks to panoramic windows and exits from each bedroom to the lower terrace. Also waiting for guests at the top is a spacious and fully equipped kitchen with an island. At guests' disposal in the kitchen are: refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, oven, induction hob, automatic coffee maker, toaster, blender, dishes and crockery including cutlery and kitchen accessories, basic groceries, spices, coffee and tea). The house has three bathrooms, including one with a bathtub - two on the lower floor, one on the upper floor. The refined interiors of the house harmoniously harmonize with the surroundings - the color palette is primarily earth tones, which do not compete with the surrounding nature - it is the nature that is supposed to dominate the perception. The interior design has a soothing effect and promotes relaxation, in the spirit of slow. The furniture was entirely custom-made. It is minimalist, comfortable and functional: the rooms are full of practical, aesthetic solutions and storage spaces (in each bedroom: a spacious, internally lit closet - bathrobes and disposable slippers await in the closet - auxiliary tables, a dressing table and an armchair). There is satellite TV in the living room and in two bedrooms - but no obligation to watch. The house has all the necessary amenities to make your stay more comfortable - air conditioning, a mechanical ventilation system and infrared ceiling heating. We have external blinds and blackout curtains. For those craving climate and closer contact with the element of fire, there is a fireplace - a goat - available in the living room, and a fireplace in the habitat. In the autumn and winter evenings time will be pleasantly filled with books and board games. In the fenced, monitored area we have parking for four cars. Additional habitat attractions: Barbecue, campfire, newly established orchard and vegetable garden, a large expanse of meadow and a piece of forest where you can smell the lily of the valley or pick mushrooms. The habitat is a plot of 2.5 hectares - in spring and summer you can lounge in the grass or on a hammock, walk, play ball or badminton, and in winter go sledding - we have our own toboggan hill. Surroundings and attractions: - Rudawy Janowickie - this is one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the Sudetenland, to the less besieged than the Karkonosze. It is a mixture of nature, history and sports. It is here - numerous forest paths intertwine with rocks with viewpoints and architectural monuments; - Kamiennogórska Basin, the highest in the Sudetenland, and there: Boulders of Dwarfs Nature Reserve in Gorzeszów, where you can admire magnificent rock formations during a forest hike; Weavers' Houses in Chelmsko Slaskie, where you can buy linen products and, over coffee, listen to stories about the history of the place and the area; The post-Cistercian Abbey in Krzeszów - Europe's Pearl of the Baroque, where, in addition to exceptional sacred art, you can listen in the summer to organ concerts played on an organ considered by many to be the best-preserved Baroque organ in this part of Europe; - Little Japan - Siruwia Japanese Garden - a place for those seeking tranquility but also new sensations, composed according to the Japanese art of garden establishment and feng shui philosophy. Here nature harmoniously harmonizes with culture and history, taking you on a fascinating journey to ancient Japan; - Chojnik Castle - a challenging but worthwhile scenic site located on Mount Chojnik, 627 meters above sea level, from which the view compensates for the difficulty of climbing; - The Ducal Tower in Siedlecin - a 14th century monument hiding restored frescoes with secular themes alluding to the legend of the Knights of the Round Table; - Huta Julia - a place where history intertwines with the present - here you can listen to glass stories, take part in creative workshops and visit one of the few places in Poland producing crystal glass; - The Pilchowicka Dam, counted among some of the most beautiful monuments of technology and, in addition, not besieged, and next to it a railroad station - "starring" in Polish films and the highest railroad bridge, which was to be blown up for a film with Tom Cruise, and will eventually be renovated; - and finally, the Valley of Palaces and Gardens, monuments bustling with life but also in ruins - from the fairy-tale Wojanow to the frightening Bobrów. Each of them is worth seeing. Ski slopes, cross-country skiing and biking trails - for those seeking sporting thrills: The closest from us are the slopes below Sniezka - Kopa and Bialy Jar, as well as the cross-country route at OW Stokrotka in Karpacz. Slightly farther, however, encourages one of the longest slopes - Lolobrygida in Szklarska Poreba and almost 100 km of cross-country skiing trails in the legendary Jakuszyce. After winter, Jakuszyce invites you to go biking, and not far from us runs the Olbrzymy bicycle loop. Restaurants - for seekers of culinary sensations: They feed well at the Aquakultura restaurant, and an additional attraction of this place is a terrace suspended over a pond with a view of the mountains. For a more refined dinner, you can go to the Staniszów Palace - even on foot through the woods - only 2 km from the Górnolotnie habitat. Here history combines with nature to create a unique palace and park complex. The restaurant of Hotel Seidorf, on the other hand, is a good place for a formal dinner or even a coffee on the large terrace with a beautiful view of the Sosnówka Reservoir and the Karkonosze Mountains.

We had the pleasure of staying at Siedlisko for 4 days and we are impressed with the place. The views outside the window but also the house itself give you a sense of complete sinking into the silence and beauty of nature. Mrs. Maria, the owner, a wonderful woman. We would recommend Upperland with full responsibility.

Host is an entrepreneur

Languages I speak: Polish

I wanted to return to the countryside, settle there permanently and build the kind of home I was looking for for myself during longer or shorter trips from the big city. Close to nature, away from the hustle and bustle, but with all the comforts. I infected my partner with the desire, and that's how the Upper-Levels was created - a habitat with a comfortable vacation home.
