Description

We invite you to relax in a cozy and atmospheric house located in the Bieszczady Mountains, in the quiet village of Zahoczewie. The cottage is fully equipped. Guests have access to 2 bedrooms in the attic - one bedroom has 3 single beds and a dresser, while the other bedroom has 1 single bed and 1 so-called double bed, as well as a dresser. On the ground floor, there is a spacious living room (with TV) with a fully equipped kitchenette and a bathroom equipped with a shower and a washing machine (clothes dryer, hairdryer, iron). The house is fully heated by a fireplace. There is a terrace and barbecue equipment. We allow pets after prior arrangement. Our house is a cozy place for everyone who wants to enjoy peace and quiet and escape from the hustle and bustle of the cities, and the village of Zahoczewie is a central point between Solina/Polańczyk and Wetlina/Cisna. In the area, you can visit, among others: - the famous church built in one night in Nowosiółki, - the Natural - Hunting Museum "Knieja", - Lasumiła - the thickest fir tree in Poland, - Bobrowe Lake, Duszatyńskie, - the Baligród church, - a tank in Baligród and a war cemetery, - the Synagogue in Lesko, - the Sanok Open-Air Museum, - the ruins of the Carmelite Monastery in Zagórz and Odrzykoń near Krosno, - the narrow-gauge railway "Bieszczadzka Ciuchcia" in Majdan near Cisna, - Bieszczady railbikes – Uherce. The area is conducive to active recreation – there are numerous hiking and biking trails nearby. Our cottage is also an excellent base for trips to the Solina Reservoir and the higher parts of the Bieszczady Mountains (Tarnica, Połonina Wetlińska, etc.). In the immediate vicinity, there are beautiful and interesting natural areas such as the "Gołoborze" reserve, quarries, and a viewpoint on Mount Sobień, Korbania. There is also a paradise for winter sports enthusiasts: numerous ski lifts, including the LeskoSki recreational complex (about 15 km away) and Bieszczad Ski (about 30 km away) - a ski station with the longest cable car. Shop 1 km, Baligród 8 km, Bieszczad Bistro 8.5 km – delivery possible, Lesko about 15 km, Cisna about 25 km.

A great place to relax! Here you can really take a break from the city and the daily noise. The area is beautiful and extremely quiet, there are only a few houses around, but it feels like there is no one. The cottage is furnished to a very high standard, well equipped and perfectly prepared for the arrival of guests. There is a fireplace in the center of the first floor, which gives the interior a unique atmosphere and effectively heats both the downstairs and the rooms upstairs. Outside there is a large covered terrace with a table and benches, and right in front of it a prepared fireplace with a grill grate. The host is very friendly and helpful, contact throughout our stay was trouble-free. We had no difficulties with check-in or check-out. I evaluate the whole stay very positively and in good conscience recommend this place!

We were in this cottage for two days and can really recommend it to people looking for peace and quiet. It is located on a large plot of land, and the neighboring properties - although built-up - are not inhabited, so you can feel like you are in a remote area. The cottage itself is clean, well-maintained, and the owner is very nice and open. There is a covered terrace, a fire pit (with prepared wood included in the price), a swing, TV, refrigerator and board games - some of these amenities were not mentioned in the offer, which is a shame, because it's a big plus. You can come with your dog, and you can buy local preserves from the owner - it's also worth adding in the description, because it's a nice surprise. The store is close, so you don't have to worry about shopping. The owner also offered us quite a few attractions and places worth visiting in the area. This is what was missing from the cottage itself - maybe it would be nice to make some kind of "book of excursions" or a map with the owner's suggestions marked on the wall, so that other guests could easily use them. On the downside - the tap water has a distinctive "rotten egg" smell, so we bought water cans for drinking and cooking, and used the tap water only for bathing. Other than that, a really great place to relax.
