What is a cave house?

A cave house is quite a fascinating dwelling. It is essentially a home built into or built from a natural cave, making it an integral part of its surrounding landscape. These homes are known for their natural insulation, maintaining a comfortable temperature inside regardless of the weather outside. In Spain, these unique abodes have been transformed into cozy, charming residences that combine historic architecture with modern amenities. Living in a cave home means having the opportunity to experience a deep connection with Nature, enjoy quiet and peaceful surroundings, and live a lifestyle that is both environmentally friendly and culturally rich. 🌿

A beautiful, unique place to stay I. A very interesting part of Spain. Very romantic. Hosts are very willing to please. Would love to go again. A couple of things to consider before arriving are to buy some supplies as the Hearst shop is 30 mins away. Also bring insect repellent.

It is a wonderful experience in the sense of rest and disconnection in all senses. It is appreciated that there is no sound but the sound of nature itself and enjoy it, which is what it is all about. I have been able to enjoy it with my partner and it has been what we were looking for from the first moment.

Excellent service and attention. We stayed in "Yuca" which supposedly did not have heating, but in the end luckily it turned out that it did because we needed it. As for the decoration, care and cleanliness of the tent and common areas, everything was impeccable. The complex itself is quite far away from everything, so you have to get there by car. However, this is part of the experience to disconnect and be in contact with nature.
