A finca is a traditional Spanish property set in picturesque countryside. These charming retreats offer a unique escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, allowing you to relax and immerse yourself in Nature. Ranging from rustic farmhouses surrounded by vineyards to immense estates with gardens and pools, fincas in Spain are the perfect choice for those seeking tranquillity and self-sufficiency.

Explore our selection of fincas in Spain to find your dream country home and enjoy the tranquil beauty of the Spanish countryside. These properties are perfect blends of nature, comfort and adventure.

A finca is a type of rural property in Spain, typically located on rural land. It can include various types of structures such as farmhouses, country houses or estates used for agricultural or recreational purposes - it is an interesting alternative to going camping in Spain. Originally built for farming, many fincas are now used as holiday homes or retreats, offering a peaceful environment away from urban areas. 🌳🌿 The charm of this type of property lies in its rustic appeal, often combined with traditional architecture, large plots of land and natural surroundings. Fincas can vary greatly in size and amenities, from simple cottages to large estates with modern facilities.

Yes, many fincas in Spain are available for holiday rental. These properties provide a unique rustic experience, mixing the comforts of home with the beauty of the countryside. Holiday fincas often have amenities such as private swimming pools, large gardens, barbecue areas and terraces. Some may also offer additional features such as farm animals, vineyards or orchards. Renting a finca allows you to enjoy a tranquil environment, perfect for relaxation and outdoor activities. The secluded nature of these properties makes them ideal for families, groups or couples looking for a quiet retreat.

Holiday fincas typically have a range of facilities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Common services include private swimming pools, large outdoor spaces, BBQ areas, and terraces with scenic views. Inside, you can expect fully equipped kitchens, spacious living areas, and comfortable bedrooms. 🌞🏊‍♂️ Many fincas also provide modern conveniences such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and heating. Some properties may include unique elements like traditional Spanish décor, fireplaces, or even access to farm animals like goats and chickens. These amenities make holiday fincas a blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Many Spanish fincas allow pets, but it's important to check the specific rules of each property. Pet-friendly fincas often offer amenities such as fenced gardens and pet beds. Some may have restrictions on the size or type of pet allowed, and may require an additional cleaning fee or deposit. When searching, use filters on booking platforms or contact owners directly. Consider the environment for safety and suitability for your pet. Pack necessary pet supplies and research local veterinary services before travelling. Confirming policies in advance will ensure a comfortable stay for you and your pet.

Spain is home to several regions that are ideal for renting a finca, each with its own unique charm and attractions. Andalusia, renowned for its warm climate and beautiful scenery, is a popular choice. 🌅 The Costa del Sol, with its sunny beaches and vibrant culture, offers numerous fincas with stunning views and easy access to coastal attractions. The Costa Blanca is another great option, known for its picturesque towns and Mediterranean beauty. Additionally, the Balearic Islands, including Mallorca and Ibiza, provide cosy fincas amidst breathtaking scenery. These regions not only possess beautiful natural landscapes but also rich cultural experiences, making them perfect destinations for a finca holiday.

Staying at a finca in Spain opens up a variety of activities that cater to both relaxation and adventure. You can enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, and horseback riding in the surrounding countryside. Many fincas are located near charming villages where you can explore local markets, historical sites, and cultural landmarks. On-site, you might find opportunities for gardening, swimming, or even participating in farm activities like olive picking or wine tasting. The serene environment also makes fincas ideal for yoga retreats, meditation, and simply unwinding with a good book. Whether you're looking for adventure or relaxation, a finca stay offers diverse experiences in a beautiful natural setting.

The best time to visit a finca in Spain depends on your preferences. Spring (April to June) and Autumn (September to October) offer mild and pleasant weather, ideal for outdoor activities and sightseeing. There are also fewer tourists during these seasons, making for a more relaxed experience. Summer (July to August) is great for those who enjoy hot weather and long sunny days, especially in coastal areas such as the Costa del Sol and the Balearic Islands. However, inland areas can be quite hot. ☀️ Winter (December to February) is less crowded and can be enjoyable, especially in southern Spain where the weather remains mild. Some fincas near ski resorts in the Pyrenees offer a mix of rustic charm and winter sports. 🏔️

When traveling to a finca in Spain, it's important to consider transportation and local amenities. Many properties are located in rural areas with limited public transport, so renting a car is often necessary to reach your destination and explore the surroundings. Before traveling, ensure you have detailed directions to the property and check if there are essential services like Wi-Fi, heating, and air conditioning, especially if visiting during off-peak seasons. It's also wise to familiarize yourself with local customs and regulations, and to plan for any additional supplies you might need during your stay. Proper preparation ensures a smooth and enjoyable finca holiday experience.

Cabañas en la Naturaleza

Pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the cottage in the middle of nature, no bugs, no cobwebs or anything. Very nice, well equipped, no detail is missing, even being small was very spacious (in my house that does not happen :-), barbecue area d, chill out area, hammocks for sunbathing or watching the stars without light pollution, 3 km from the village, supermarkets, bars etc.. The host was friendly and at all times aware of our needs. In the middle of nature just 2 hours from Madrid. It has been an experience to repeat.

Magical place, you leave here floating in peace. The cabin is very cute, equipped and with all the necessary utensils, it is also super well conditioned, we were not cold at all! We took a walk around and there is nothing but countryside, perfect to disconnect! It has been a long time since we heard such a deep silence. We thank you for the treatment received, we will be back for sure! From the bustle of Barcelona, a hug for the horses and Elvis who we liked very much !

A wonderful experience. The location is unbeatable, in the middle of the mountain, next to the river, in a beautiful pine forest. The tipis are beautiful, very well equipped, the bed is comfortable. The decoration is spectacular and everything is taken care of in detail. Elena is always looking after everything well. I would definitely repeat.

Everything perfect, the direct treatment and the kindness with which they treat you is exceptional. The wagon is amazing, it has everything (some damage to fix but it is normal for the utility). You feel at home, a very quiet place where you can disconnect and rest. WE WILL REPEAT FOR SURE

We went with our dog, and we were delighted, the house is just as in the photos, and Ana is a perfect hostess. She gave us facilities at all times (as I am a bit absent-minded and I get lost easily) we were super comfortable, so much so, that our dog did not want to go home. 🙊🙊🙊 The cottage is a few minutes drive from the center of Cartagena, super recommended. Thank you Ana!!!
