We had a wonderful time. We took the upstairs room and the views are spectacular. It's very relaxing to take a bath while looking at those landscapes. It was definitely what we were looking for. In the area, we did the bear trail, a very beautiful route where you immerse yourself in nature, but there are thousands of options in the area. Plus, Gijón and Oviedo are just a short drive away. María del Carmen took good care of us, and the people there were very nice. The house was clean, well-prepared, and fantastic. I recommend bringing food, although there is a Covirán supermarket 10 minutes away in Proaza. It's not difficult to get to Santa María; you can do it with practically any car. Definitely a highly recommended experience. We'll be back.

The site is spectacular, with beautiful views of the valley. Best of all is how easy Marian makes your stay, without a doubt an exceptional person. If you want to live a perfect experience, be guided by her recommendations on what to see and where to eat. With her everything was easy, she was very concerned about our welfare. We went with a small dog and we had no problem, the accommodation is perfectly prepared and very cozy. We went in winter and we were not cold, it is well conditioned. The only thing we didn't try was the outdoor barbecue. It's perfect if you are a group of 4.... but you can book the two lodgings (upstairs and downstairs) which can accommodate up to 8 people. We will definitely repeat. It is perfect for a 2-3 night getaway with all there is to see in the area.
