O MOSS AND CONE These are two avant-garde houses made of a postal wagon and wood, located in the tiny village of Zynie, on the edge of an ancient forest, in the valley of the Tanew River in Roztocze. We built them with family efforts, putting all our hearts into it. MECH was created from a wagon that carried letters in the 1980s. HAPPY is built from local wood - it wraps you in warm colors and soothes the senses. And in the forest garden, a warming Finnish sauna flourishes. Moss and Cone have grown to relax busy thoughts, energize, inspire with the beauty of greenery and the sounds of nature. We are sure you will love this unique place to relax. GREEN HABITAT The surrounding area is conducive to long walks on field and forest paths among old trees. The ancient forest here looks just beyond the fence. In summer it offers shelter from the heat and smells of succulent moss, undergrowth and berries, until late autumn it abounds with many species of wild mushrooms, and in winter it sleeps covered with snow, forming a downy covering on the trees. You can also delight the eye with a picturesque view at a nearby wild pond, and the Tanew River will invite you to go canoeing with its gentle current. This is a place to regenerate the mind and body. For family, friends, for creative, yoga, meditation or art workshops. MECH HOUSE from a postal wagon The MECH Cottage has two wagon-like bedrooms and a bathroom with beautiful arched ceilings. You'll find down-soft beds with windows overlooking a total wild thicket of exuberant acacia trees. In addition, the cottage has a flower-filled conservatory, such a cozy nook, overlooking the forest garden - green to the extreme, a mezzanine and an unfussy living room with a kitchen. In a nutshell: - Kitchen combined with living room (with sofa bed) and glass conservatory (with fireplace "goat") - open space, - Bedroom mezzanine with a 2-person bed, which can be climbed by a metal ladder from the open space, - Two lockable independent bedrooms with double beds, - Bathroom with shower, - Independent wooden terrace with garden, - Finnish sauna in the garden. HOLIDAY HOUSE made of wood Take a look inside the SZYSZKA, which envelops you with the warmth of colors and soothes your senses. It accommodates up to 4 travelers. Visit the idyllic pastel bedrooms, the bright floral bathroom with bathtub and shower. We have prepared for you soft as down beds with windows overlooking a total wild thicket of exuberant acacia trees. The airy and warm living room with kitchen has a beautiful exit to the wooden terrace. In the garden you'll find a moment of refreshment under the apple trees to read a book or light a fire. Ddditionally we offer: GOODS BASKET - Upon request, we provide a village basket of local goodies for breakfast preparation. In both kitchens it is possible to comfortably prepare meals, make sandwiches for wandering around the area and sit at the table until dawn. You have all the equipment you need here (pots, dishes, cutlery, glassware, etc.). We want you to sleep and rest with us, so upon request we will prepare you a basket full of local goodness for a country breakfast. Depending on the season, this will include: country eggs, cottage cheese with chives, butter, baked rye bread, a jar of homemade jams, pickled mushrooms and pickles. All the preserves are made by our mother Antoinette, who nurtures vegetables and fruits in her garden, collects herbs in summer and mushrooms in autumn. FREE FIENNA SAUNA - We have a Finnish sauna in our garden - it can be used by all guests of the Mech cottage and the Szyszka cottage. FIREPLACE AND GRILL free - In the cottage there is central electric heating powered by solar energy and an atmospheric fireplace, and in the garden there is a fireplace for a bonfire and barbecue, fueled by wood included in the price of your stay, prepared in advance by us. CLIMATIZATION - During the summer you can use the air conditioning in the open space in the cottage. FREE BICYCLES - In the cottage there are bicycles, specially prepared, for rides in the area. You can use them free of charge. SUP BOARD - SUP swimming board and vests for 2 people | paid 150 PLN per day GUIDE - After booking we share our original guide "Moss and Cones" to the area we know like the back of our hand. For example, we will already write here about the small local village store and village market that takes place every Thursday and Saturday. Restaurants we checked out and recommend: "Sitarska" in Bilgoraj, "Inn at the Crossroads", "Pear and Parsley" in Korchow, Fisherman's Hut - Roztoczanski Trout (Bondyrz 9A), and for coffee lovers, "Coffee and Sons" coffee shop and roaster in Bilgoraj. WORKATION - The perfect place to relax interspersed with remote work. Wondering if you can find the space to get away for a while and write an email during an idyllic stay? Or spend a few hours catching up on work? We've made sure that you can click from anywhere in Mech and Szyszka. We have, already proven by our guests, high-speed internet, mobile speaker, extension cords and wooden laptop pads. Some choose a sturdy table in the open space, others hiding in the mezzanine like to work from bed, and those most thirsty for nature sit in the garden and instead of background music, prefer chirping birds during a call'a with the boss. Everyone will find the perfect way to workation here. Booking Cancellation Policy: We do not refund the prepayment in the situation of cancellation of the resereservation for reasons beyond our control.
