The mountain huts in the forest, 900 m above Innsbruck — your vacation homes in Tyrol The two mountain huts, the chalet and the Höfl, are located at an altitude of approx. 900 m above Innsbruck in Tyrol — on the sunny slope of the Nordkette mountain range of Hoch-Innsbruck. The chalet and the Höfl have been lovingly preserved and modernized. Enjoy the flair of Tyrol indoors and outdoors — in an authentic atmosphere, with TV and fiber optic internet, or while having breakfast on the sun terrace. Spend your days in comfortable silence at the window of the Karwendel Mountains — Austria's largest nature park. Please note: Due to the steep stairs to the upper floor, the mountain huts are unfortunately not suitable for guests with physical disabilities. Breathe in the fresh forest air, lie in the sun – surrounded by the scent of forest and meadows – with your gaze fixed on the mountains. From here, you have a great view of a wonderful mountain panorama; in good weather, you can even see as far as the Italian Alps! Hiking, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking – experience Tyrol. Or simply explore the city, go out, stop for a bite to eat, enjoy an ice cream – the close proximity to the city of Innsbruck is a great advantage. The city center of Innsbruck can be reached from the vacation home in about 15 minutes by car. Take a ride on the unique Innsbruck Nordkettenbahnen cable cars – from Hafelekar (2300 m) via the Alpine Zoo to the city center. A wide variety of culinary delights are served here. Genuine delicacies await you in the immediate vicinity of the huts. The restaurants at Gramartboden and Hungerburg can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot along the only road. Das Höfl The comfortable vacation home "Das Höfl" is located high above Innsbruck and can accommodate up to 3 people. Ideal for hiking and winter sports, it was modernized in 2012, with an extension (new bathroom and kitchen) and equipped with underfloor heating and convectors. The historic furnishings were retained and supplemented with a few collector's items, such as the antique farmhouse bed with its lucky inscription. The Chalet The carefully restored historic holiday home "Das Chalet" is located above the Höfl on the sunny slope of the Nordkettenberg massif. It can accommodate up to 3 people. Thanks to its traditional wooden construction, it exudes an archaic closeness to nature despite all its comforts. The loggia on the ground floor invites you to linger in the fresh air. Here you can spend your days in absolute silence.
