Description
My Home in Budy is an intimate retreat nestled on the edge of the forest, designed for those seeking peace, nature, and a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Guests have access to a comfortable 160 × 200 cm bed located on the mezzanine and a pull-out sofa. The house also features a large bathtub, perfect for relaxing after a day spent outdoors. Please note, however, that the bathroom has not yet been fully finished, though it remains functional. The house is surrounded by a beautiful forest that is part of the Natura 2000 protected area. It is a unique place for nature lovers and birdwatchers. Many species of birds can be spotted in the area year-round, and binoculars are available on-site, allowing you to comfortably observe nature without venturing far from home. Numerous forest trails invite you to take walks, during which the singing of birds accompanies you almost constantly. A short distance from the cottage is also the Bug River—one of the last large, naturally meandering rivers in Europe. It’s a perfect spot for kayaking, fishing, or a peaceful retreat by the water. By kayak, you can reach, among other places, Szumin, where the Hansen House is located—the famous home and studio of architects Zofia and Oskar Hansen, one of the most interesting sites related to the history of Polish architecture. There is a small porch where you can enjoy a quiet morning coffee, as well as a designated spot for a bonfire to spend the evening under the starry sky. The absence of city lights means that at night you can admire the stars and enjoy true silence. It’s a simple, peaceful place for those who value closeness to nature, active recreation, and a leisurely pace of life. If you’re looking for a place where, instead of city noise, you’ll hear birds singing and the rustling of trees, there’s a good chance you’ll have a truly special time here. Note: We do not provide bedding, so please bring your own.
