Our wonderful house La Quintana de Marta is perfect for groups of travelers of up to 14 people looking to stay together in the same house a little away from the hustle and noise of the city. It is located in the quiet village of Granda in the council of Parres in a unique and rural setting, with wonderful views of the Sierra del Sueve and the surrounding mountains. La Quintana de Marta is perfect for those looking to relax and enjoy but at the same time have many activities and services close to the house – it is the perfect base camp for several families traveling together or a group of friends! It is a short drive from the most famous places in Asturias: less than 6 km from Arriondas, 15 km from Cangas de Onís, and about 22 kilometers from Covadonga. DISTRIBUTION AND EQUIPMENT OF LA QUINTANA DE MARTA: Our rural house La Quintana de Marta was built of stone and wood over a century ago, making it rich in history and heritage from the Indian era, which is reflected in its rustic decoration with the greatest luxury of the time but without neglecting the comfort of modern life. Staying at La Quintana de Marta offers the authentic experience of being in a dreamy Asturian mansion where we will find original elements inside such as a stone oven used in the past for making wood-fired bread or the marble washbasin located in the main kitchen. As for the exterior, it has two accesses to the house, one of which has a small entrance hall and a relaxing area with a wooden and stone bench, while the other access is through the beautiful and well-kept garden where we can also park the car comfortably. In this garden, we will also find the typical Asturian hórreo, used to store grain and tools away from rodents and humidity, as well as a barbecue area and a gazebo where we can eat and enjoy a pleasant space with charm and great views. Inside the house, we can find two living rooms, one of which has a desk, library, and is adjacent to the gallery or corridor perfect for relaxing and enjoying the warmth of the sun, two fully equipped kitchens with all the appliances and utensils necessary for enjoying autonomy during your stay, one of these kitchens is directly connected to the gazebo and the previously mentioned barbecue for greater comfort during your stay. As for the bedrooms, there are seven in total: six rooms with double beds and one with two single beds, as well as six full bathrooms. The house has heating and a fireplace, and pets are also welcome at La Quintana de Marta upon prior request. If needed, we can provide a crib upon prior request. This original, cozy, and complete home offers plenty of space and privacy to enjoy an unforgettable stay with your loved ones.
